The United Nations Convention against Transnational Organised Crime (UNTOC) is the key piece of international legislation addressing organised crime. With 187 States parties it is one of the most ratified pieces of UN legislation, but there is little tangible evidence of its efficacy.
This section aims to promote informed analysis of the role of UNTOC in the contemporary fight against transnational organised crime.
