Various parts of Africa have become transit points for the global trade in illicit drugs. As a result, an increasing number of people across the continent are becoming involved in the illicit trade, as well as using drugs themselves.

The ENACT consortium partners will present findings of new research into the trafficking and use of illicit drugs in Africa, and their impact on development.

The event will close with a presentation by INTERPOL on the use of Criminal Intelligence Analysis to fight Transnational Organized Crime in Africa.
