Dylan Ramshaw
Director of Risk Mitigation and Security
Dylan leads the development, implementation, and oversight of GI-TOC’s management of physical risk to its staff, partners, and operations.
He joined the GI-TOC in 2026 after six years with Open Briefing managing key client relationships with private Foundations and non-profits, including with GI-TOC, to meet their duty of care to their staff and global networks. He specializes in providing expert advisory to high-risk civil society actors operating in complex security environments where corrupt state and private interests collude with criminal groups. Dylan has focused his 25-year career on the cross-cutting issues of human rights, development, security, and social impact research and policy in Latin America and Africa for non-profits and private consultancies.
He has an Executive MSc in International Strategy and Diplomacy from the London School of Economics, a PGCert in Intelligence Analysis from Brunel University London, and an MA and BA in Economics.
