Multilateral Engagement Officer, Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime

Sophia recently joined GI-TOC as a Multilateral Engagement Officer. Before joining GI-TOC, Sophia worked for three years at the Permanent Mission of Switzerland to the United Nations in Vienna, where she covered issues surrounding UNODC and represented Switzerland’s position in different negotiations on ,inter alia, human trafficking, terrorism, environmental crime and drug related issues. Prior to that position, she worked in various positions at the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs in Switzerland. She holds a MA in Transnational Crime, Justice and Security and a BA in Social Science and Philosophy.
