Project Assistant - Central Africa Observatory, Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime
Soffia Diop is a Project Assistant with the Central Africa Observatory supporting research, analysis and coordination related to conflict, security and governance dynamics in Central Africa.
She has over 10 years of experience working in international, diplomatic and humanitarian settings, with a focus on research support, project coordination and analytical reporting. Prior to joining the Global Initiative, she worked with the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) in Dakar, supporting the monitoring and analysis of humanitarian assistance programmes across West Africa and contributing to regional coordination with governments, UN agencies and NGOs.
Soffia holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
