Ibiba Jane Odili, a retired Assistant Commander-General of Narcotics, worked for 35 years with the Nigeria’s National Drug Law Enforcement Agency. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from University of Port-Harcourt, Master of Public Administration from University of Lagos, and a Bachelor of Law- National Open University of Nigeria.

In 2022, as Commander of Idiroko Area Command, an ingenuity award was earned. She contributed in shaping drug control policies in (1999, 2015-2020, 2021-2025) and led the coordination of implementing the National Drug Control Master Plan between 2024-2025. She conducted over 100 advocacy visits, reached over 90,000 people through 197 drug sensitization programs, and led actions leading to eradicating illicit cannabis farms.

As a United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Master Trainer, she trained focal persons, driving national drug control initiatives. She now serves as Founder of Phenomenal Strides Foundation, an NGO dedicated to family and community development. Her membership of International Society of Substance Use Professionals has provided me the platform to collaborate with experts in the field of Drug Demand Reduction. She authored Game Changing Parenting (2019) and contribute to charity, through my membership of the Lions Clubs International, where she currently serves as the District Cabinet Secretary.
