Over the past 15 years, Nicole Byrd has worked drug trafficking, human trafficking, and environmental and wildlife crime. She uses this broad experience to specialize in understanding crime convergence, particularly in illicit financial flows and logistics. Her upcoming publication is on the role of corruption in facilitating environmental crime and wildlife trafficking, co-authored with ELI colleagues.
