Sintiche Nahomie Pagnou Tchinda is a conflict analyst as well as an analyst on civil society issues. She has over seven years’ experience in UN peacekeeping missions and international organizations in Central Africa and New York. Specialized in conflict analysis and mediation, disarmament, demobilization and reintegration (DDR) and community violence reduction (CVR), she has proven expertise in post-conflict stabilization and resilience programs. She has held positions with MINUSCA in the Central African Republic and MONUSCO in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where she coordinated DDR-CVR strategies, managed multi-sector programs and led high-impact initiatives to promote social cohesion and community recovery. Ms Pagnou, in her role as consultant for the Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC), she has helped in setting up an environmental crime observatory. She has also carried out investigations into conflict financing, particularly in the gold sector, and is the author of benchmark publications such as Gouvernance des ressources naturelles, which analyzes the links between mining, armed conflict and local governance systems. Committed to local, inclusive and sustainable responses to organized crime, Ms. Pagnou brings a wealth of experience in field research, strategic planning and multi-stakeholder coordination in complex and sensitive environments.
