He has served as technical advisor of knowledge management at Peru’s interior ministry, as budget specialist at Peru’s finance ministry and as a researcher at Peru’s defence ministry. He has authored a number of publications on organized crime patterns, cocaine and illegal timber supply chains, and the private security market.
