Natalia is a lawyer by training and has worked as a legal advisor for more than ten years. She has dedicated the past five years to conducting research on illegal wildlife trade and its links with organized crime and corruption from a policy and governance perspective. She is currently part of a research lab focused on conservation criminology and continues to keep researching the intricacies of the illegal wildlife trade in Latin America and Africa.
