Kittipoom Neamhom currently holds the position of Director of the Office of External Relations and Policy Coordination at the Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ). In this capacity, he is dedicated to advancing crime prevention efforts in Thailand and across Southeast Asia. Within the context of ASEAN, he served as the vice-chair for the Consultative Group Meeting of the ASEAN Conference on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice. One of the initiatives he takes great pride in is the ASEAN crime prevention program, which focuses on harnessing the positive impact of sports to mitigate the risk of crime and violence.
At the global level, Kittipoom serves as the editor-in-chief of the “PNI Newsletter”, a platform dedicated to sharing insights on UN standards and norms related to crime prevention and criminal justice. Prior to his current role at the TIJ, he spent eight years contributing to the efforts of UNHCR across different countries. He also served as a lecturer at the National Institute for Development Administration (NIDA) and it was during this period that one of his research projects received the esteemed “Top Paper Award” from the International Conference on the Advancement for Development Administration.
