Jimmy Borah is an experienced leader and consulting professional with experience in working in the non-profit organization management industry for more than 15 years. He is skilled in wildlife conservation and management, wildlife crime and law enforcement, wildlife population ecology, landscape level conservation, and fundraising and research design. Over the years Jimmy has successfully led and developed projects for the conservation of tigers and other wildlife within South and South East Asia.
Jimmy has worked on environmental laws for last five years, particularly on the institutional and legal framework in biodiversity and natural resources management.
He has published more than 30 peer reviewed papers, technical reports and popular articles in different forums.
Jimmy is a member of the IUCN Connectivity Conservation Specialist Group; IUCN WCPA Transboundary Conservation Specialist Group; and IUCN Group Fishing Cat Specialist Group.
