Political scientist, MA in National Security and Defense, with 9 years experience in public safety, criminal intelligence and analysis. Currently working at the Basel Institute on Governance on Illicit Wildlife Trafficking.
Prior to this, served as a Criminal Analyst for Colombia’s Attorney General’s Office (AGO) at the Strategic Center for Evidence Assessment. While at the AGO, Manuel had the chance to contribute to the implementation of new analysis units, investigative techniques, data processing models and the design of a new model for criminal analysis.
Current member of the International Association of Crime Analysts (IACA).
