Vindi joined the GI-TOC after concluding his Master’s study which focused on the nexus of climate, biodiversity degradation, and human rights in the context of the palm oil and mining industry in Borneo island, Indonesia. He holds a dual Master’s in Sustainability Science from the University of Tokyo and United Nations University, where he specialized in topics related to environmental issues and social inequality.
With a decade of research experience and engagement with grassroots, Vindi is profoundly committed to issues surrounding environmental and biodiversity degradation, migrants, refugees, and plantation workers, with a specific emphasis on addressing the intersection between environmental issues and human rights.
