From 9 to 12 February 2026, representatives of business, governments, international organisations and civil society will meet in Cape Town for the annual Investing in African Mining Indaba conference, hosted by Hyve.
The Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) will be engaged at the Mining Indaba and will take part in events during the week. With Africa’s most influential mining companies, governments, and global investors all under one roof, the GI-TOC will share research, activities that feed into key conversations in the mining industry. We will also share recommendations, insights and advocate for policy and programmatic responses, that turn ideas into action that combats organized crime and helps communities and societies around the world.
