The event will discuss the serious risks of threats and assassinations posed by transnational organized crime and corruption.

The panel will discuss the issue through two lenses. Firstly, the threats faced by those who stand up against and report on corruption. Secondly, how corruption in criminal-justice institutions leads to impunity and sets a precedent for reiteration. In the final part of the event, LIBERA Associations Names and Numbers Against Mafias and Mafianeindanke will present the project YouMonitor, which aims to improve the good practices against corruption.
