Ubaldo is Lieutenant Colonel of the Special Forces with 22 years of service. He held various military positions, such as the Chief of Detachment, Chief of Intelligence and Operations of Special Forces Units of the Honduran Army. In addition to said military positions, he fulfilled the assignment of Chief of the Analysis and Intelligence Unit, Chief of the Anti-Money Laundering Unit, Coordinator of Strategic Communications and Chief of Region of the Anti Maras and Gangs Force Honduras (FNAMP).
On top of that, Ubaldo has rich international experience, which he gained while conducting Operation Iraq Freedom and Operation Regional Shield of the Northern Triangle Alliance of Central America. In Honduras, Ubaldo is skilled in operations against organized crime and human rights.
His areas of academic interest include extortion, money laundering, criminal association, terrorism, drug trafficking, and related crimes. Ubaldo contributed to the academic society by writing in columns and opinion spaces in newspapers in Honduras and the National Defense College.
