Liana Rosen is a specialist in international crime and narcotics at a U.S. legislative branch organization, where she conducts non-partisan research and analysis. She has prepared several dozen publications on various aspects of on transnational crime and related foreign policy responses and testified before Congress on human trafficking issues, among other speaking engagements. Previously, she worked at the Brookings Institution on transnational security threats and weak states.
Ms. Rosen has also worked at the State Department’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, focusing on financial crime and anti-corruption matters, and participated in a Defense Department Combined Joint Interagency Task Force on corruption and rule of law, based in Afghanistan. Ms. Rosen graduated from Duke University and Georgetown University.
