Djordje Ostojic

Appellate Public Prosecutor, Novi Sad, Republic of Serbia

Djordje Ostojic is the Appellate Public Prosecutor at the Office of the Public Prosecutor in Novi Sad, Republic of Serbia. Mr. Ostojic has worked within the Serbian judicial system since graduating from university in Novi Sad with a degree in Law in 1992. Beginning as a trainee in the Novi Sad District Public Prosecutor’s Office, he has worked his way up through the ranks over the course of the last two decades. In addition to his role as Appellate Public Prosecutor, he has served as Deputy to the Republic Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade since 2004, and as a member of the State Prosecutorial Council since 2009. Mr. Ostojic has collaborated with many international initiatives and associations during his career, and is currently a contact point for EUROJUST, the South East European Prosecutors’ Advisory Group, and the Consultative Council of European Prosecutors, among others.
