The Global Initiative is currently working in close partnership with a number of key organisations and governments, to advance projects or regional initiatives.
The Global Initiative engages with existing think-tanks and independent policy-making organizations to align agendas, and to build stronger linkages between research, policy and implementation.
The success of an over-arching global strategy requires buy-in within the context of a broad range of networks, many of which already exist but are not being systematically drawn into the debate. This includes, for example, discussions around the rule of law, human security, governance and development. But also includes topic specific discussions including on terrorism, cybercrime and security, drug policy, among others.
The Global Initiative engages with existing think-tanks and independent policymaking organizations to discuss their transnational organized crime agenda and priorities, and to identify common areas for collaboration. The overall goal of this Forum is align agendas, and to build stronger linkages between research, policy and implementation.
