The Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime is a non profit registered and  headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.

Our work would not be possible without the substantive and substantial support of the members of the Global Initiative Network, and their respective organisations.

The Global Initiative was established with funding and operational support from the Government of Norway and the Government of Switzerland. In addition, we are grateful for the partnership and support of a range of donors and institutional partners.

THINK TANK FORUM

The Think Tanks Forum

The Global Initiative engages with existing think-tanks and independent policy-making organizations to align agendas, and to build stronger linkages between research, policy and implementation.

The success of an over-arching global strategy requires buy-in within the context of a broad range of networks, many of which already exist but are not being systematically drawn into the debate. This includes, for example, discussions around the rule of law, human security, governance and development. But also includes topic specific discussions including on terrorism, cybercrime and security, drug policy, among others.

The Global Initiative engages with existing think-tanks and independent policymaking organizations to discuss their transnational organized crime agenda and priorities, and to identify common areas for collaboration. The overall goal of this Forum is align agendas, and to build stronger linkages between research, policy and implementation.

Members of the Think Tanks Forum include individuals from the following institutions:
